Thicker lawn starts this fall.

Core aeration and professional overseeding help compacted, thin and heat-stressed lawns rebuild density before winter.

Why these services work together

Open the soil. Introduce new grass. Give it the right start.

Core aeration removes small plugs from the lawn, reducing surface compaction and creating channels for air, water and nutrients. Overseeding immediately afterward puts quality cool-season seed in closer contact with the soil, where it has a better opportunity to establish.

Fall is the key renovation window for St. Louis-area cool-season lawns because soil remains warm while air temperatures begin to moderate. Booking early helps you land inside that valuable window.

What to expect

A simple three-step renovation.

01

Prepare

Mow slightly shorter before service, mark irrigation heads and clear toys, hoses and debris from the lawn.

02

Aerate & seed

We core aerate accessible turf and apply the selected seed, with extra attention to noted thin areas.

03

Water & establish

Follow the watering guidance closely, limit traffic and allow the new seedlings time to develop before mowing.

Common questions

Know before you schedule.

When should I water?

Begin promptly after service. Keep the seedbed consistently damp with light, frequent watering until germination, then gradually transition to deeper watering.

Will every bare area fill in?

Results depend on soil, sunlight, watering, seed-to-soil contact and the cause of the bare area. Dense shade, erosion or drainage may need a separate correction.

Do you offer weekly mowing?

No. We specialize in landscape construction, property care and seasonal lawn renovation rather than weekly mowing routes.
